I kicked off my shoes, feeling the cool, wet gravel of the shallow pool beneath my feet. Stepping directly under the cascading water, the pressure was perfect. It felt like a heavy, cold liquid massage pounding against my tight, screen-fatigued shoulders. The mist coated my face, tasting faintly of wild forest leaves and clean rain. Surrounded by nothing but sheer emerald green and the laughter of total strangers, the stress of deadlines and traffic simply dissolved into the foam.
